ABOUT
Scott Oller is an artist known for his work in Yosemite and beyond.
Scott’s photography has been featured in articles by National Geographic, The Los Angeles Times, CNN, SFGate, and other publications. His 2021 photo, Smoke & Moonlight II was displayed at the Yosemite Museum as part of the Yosemite Renaissance 38 exhibit.
As a filmmaker, he has extensively documented the phenomenon of waterfall rainbows in Yosemite. His 2012 documentary Rosetta is a Vimeo Staff Pick, and won Best Documentary at Loyola Marymount University’s Film Outside the Frame Festival.
From 2018-2020, Scott documented the indigenous rock art of California, writing about his experiences throughout remote areas of the state, culminating in his most popular photo-narrative, The Other Cave.
Scott works full-time as Creative Director at New Revolution Media, a video production agency in San Francisco, and spends his early mornings/sunsets/weekends pursuing art & adventure. He lives in San Francisco with his wife & son.
